Chakra’s are the energy centers which are directly connected with our emotional state. When the chakras are balanced the individual is happy healthy and stress free. Stress, frustration and destructive thoughts are the indication of imbalanced chakra. In human body there are 109 energy centers but amongst all, 9 chakras are important. 7 chakras and their properties
Mooladhara or Root chakra- red colour is associated with this chakra. It is situated at the base of the spine. When this chakra is activated one experiences enthusiasm in life. When its dormant one experiences dullness.
Swadishthan or sex chakra- located behind the genitals this chakra is associated with procreation and creation. It’s the center of creativity. The negative trait of this chakra is obsession with sex. Orange colour is associated with this chakra.
Manipur or Navel Chakra- situated just behind the navel, the traits of this chakra are jealousy, generosity, joy and greed. It’s of yellow colour.
Anahata or heart chakra- based at the center of the heart this chakra is the center of fear, hatred and Love. This chakra is associated with green colour.
Vishuddhi or throat chakra- the feeling of gratefulness and grief is associated with this chakra. its colour is blue.
Ajna or third eye chakra- situated at the center of eyebrows this chakra has the attributes of anger, awareness and alertness. It’s colour is indigo.
Sahastrara or Crown chakra- located at the top of the head the traits of this chakra are enlightenment and dynamic thoughts.
